The Quantum Partnership with AI.
How AI Became My Ally in Building a Spirit-Led Practice
I still remember the first time I ever used AI. I am a full-time teacher, and our team got an email last year from a parent demanding to know why their child was not chosen to be identified as gifted, like his two friends in the same class. In our reply, we wanted to first fully explain the process of how we decide on gifted identification and how and when she herself, as a parent, could submit a referral.
Simultaneously, we also wanted our response to lack any sort of defensiveness and lastly, we wished our response to have compassionate understanding of this parent’s point of view and offer a means for this conversation to take place. That was a tall order, for we knew from experience that no matter what we wrote, there was potential for this turning sideways. I suddenly remembered we could ask ChatGPT for assistance, and we gave it a try. We wrote the prompt: “to keep the spirit of this response email but to please take out any hint of defensiveness and to go heavy on the compassion and understanding of the parent’s point of view.” Three seconds after entering the request, we received a well-crafted possible response with all the variables listed above beautifully woven into the text. With half-hour-long daily teacher lunches and 35-minute planning periods, this would have normally taken us hours to accomplish. I was convinced!
That experience opened a Pandora’s box of resources and skills, always allowing me more time for all the things I prefer doing. This past January, I finally became a QHHT Level 2 practitioner, and almost immediately after, I embraced Candace’s course, Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH). Both courses, I am convinced, strongly complement each other beautifully and should be part of every quantum healer’s arsenal of courses, no matter what else you learn after. QHHT gave me a solid foundation, but BQH gave me wings to fly as a practitioner. I have never felt more inspired to trust myself as I did while embodying the lessons from this course. Almost immediately after both courses, I started building a website for myself. Yet, I had limited means. I have one kid in college and one nearly there. Due to my tight monetary resources, perfecting my website would be something I would have to tackle on my own. But as I found out quite quickly, it’s one thing to have a website and YouTube channel, but it’s quite another to have these tools work for you to bring in actual paying clients. AI has been pivotal in growing my new healing business on so many levels. While I am very far from done, below I list some of the major ways in which AI has helped me get started. I am freely sharing this list in hopes of inspiring others to also tap into all the innumerable free resources available. In the end, we are all meant to succeed, and the more people who get themselves out there, the more people get the support they need. While I understand the use of AI may hold some controversy, I assure you that as an energy reader and empath, intention and genuineness are the number one (and two) essential ingredients in all I do; my intention of being of loving service remains intact in every endeavor, whether done with the support of AI or not.
Getting one’s website off the ground if one is just starting out can seem overwhelming. While Wix, the format I pay for and use, is quite user-friendly, I could spend weeks upon weeks just playing with all the endless options and getting nowhere. All website formats are an ocean of choices, and I realized quickly that I would need some help navigating this new world. Inspired by Deepak’s Digital Dharma book, I began by asking ChatGPT daily to simply scan my website and give me 10 suggestions for what I could change to bring in more clients, increase engagement, or get more views, etc. I would never, of course, implement all ten—or even close. BUT I would choose one shift, one small change daily, and within weeks I had a much better product than when I started, and it would feel almost effortless. I would also do similar with my YouTube channel. At times, the suggestions given would require me to struggle uphill a bit while I YouTubed how to implement them. This way, in time, I also picked up so many new skills, also effortlessly.
Not all changes will render immediate results, but overall, over time, the simple website one starts with will begin to carry a more effective, streamlined message and, in turn, reach more clients. One of the most impactful shifts I was suggested to make by AI required me to streamline my front page so that immediately my clients would know what my site was all about. While I am versed in four different healing modalities, I needed my main message to encompass these modalities under one simple “umbrella.” The shift began with titling my business in a way that encompassed all the modalities under one umbrella, one roof. In shifting my business name, the four healing modalities felt more connected. I asked AI to list upwards of 20 possible name suggestions from which to pick and choose, all of which must include the very specific quality variables I wanted. All that was left to do once a list of 20 possibilities was offered was to sit with each, tune in to my inner guidance, and muscle test each word to see which ones felt more aligned with my heart and business goals.
Another early suggestion given to me on my daily quest to independently better my website was to build a mailing list. This is one I would not have done on my own. You see, my experience with signing on to mailing lists has not been a positive one. Two years into my business, I was still operating under the idea that mailing lists are completely not needed and can even be detrimental and turn people away from your business. In my experience, I have been—and continue to be—bombarded with emails after emails by healers, light workers, energy workers, and metaphysical folks with whom I dared venture onto their page, only now to be haunted by their constant emails in my box. Because integrity is important in my work as a light worker, I did not want to be the reason people felt annoyed. But the suggestion kept popping up, and it slowly shifted my view, so I gave it a go. My email newsletters come only once a month and hold Zoom links to all my free events throughout the month, my latest video uploads on YouTube, members-only discount codes, affiliate discount codes, and other fun events—all for “members” only. It has been a complete game changer.
AI has also been useful in keeping me within integrity. Inevitably, as one goes about their business (literally and figuratively), no matter how hard one tries to come from a place of integrity, things WILL always happen that test that resolve. The following is a story of how it assisted me in keeping my cool in the face of adversity. This was last month, after a few sessions in which it became painfully clear that the best coherence happens when the client finds me, rather than me begging my way into their life. In my inspired state, I posted a quote on my main Facebook page—something to the effect of, “May the people I am meant to support find me.” Scores of my friends commented in positive ways, except for an acquaintance, whom I’ve never really seen in person, but who shares a healing modality in common. We have participated in Zoom trainings a few times, and that is the extent of our “relationship,” if you may. To keep her identity anonymous, let’s call her Jenny.
Jenny expressed to me via Messenger obvious distress over my post. She informed me that “help” is no longer the word we use in the healing community, that it may hurt some people, and that the words we use now are words like “support.” This triggered me more than it should have. Okay, I’m human. Perhaps what annoyed me most was the fact that she is someone I hardly know, and here she is “finger-wagging” at me—again. I should add that this was not her first confrontation. About a week back, she had taken a personal story I shared about a synchronicity with my daughter, and her response then was both forceful and defensive, both on the post and via Messenger. When it first happened, I assumed this woman must be going through something, and I had kindly thanked her and dismissed her initial strong confrontation with a “thank you for your thoughts” response, choosing not to engage further.
As mundane and seemingly insignificant as this story is, I share it because I suspect we all have been in this very spot, in varying degrees or another. The question for us in the healing profession is always: How does one respond from a place of integrity, fearlessness, fully acknowledging our intentions and feelings, and doing all that without ego—without creating hurt or more karma? Because each of these variables mattered in my response, I turned to ChatGPT. Most importantly, AI is excellent in helping one spotlight ego in the responses I have already crafted and help me root it out. Try it—pluck any response you’ve ever crafted and ask it to take out ego, and it will. It’s that simple. Sometimes, we might think a response we put forth feels as if it’s from the highest vibration, and yet it might still carry some defensiveness, some tinges of anger, or “finger-wagging.”
I wanted to respond with a clean and clear reply so that it stopped occupying such a huge part of my thinking. I needed to stay focused on my own personal and business goals, my own problems, and my own family—and whatever this stranger had going on in her own life to lash out this way was not going to take priority. I was not going to allow her to derail my sleep, my sanity, my thoughts, or even my page. Whatever it was had nothing to do with me. I plunked all the variables into ChatGPT. I wanted a response that laid boundaries in a loving and kind way but was devoid of ego. The responses it offered allowed me to set a clear boundary and give myself peace of mind. Additionally, at my request, ChatGPT gave me not just one, but several varying possible responses, each time adjusting the variables. I chose one which felt most aligned, edited it a bit more to make it truly match my style, and sent it. It felt immediately better to respond but not to do it defensively. With my response, I took my sanity back, did not lose my integrity, and most importantly, lost very little sleep.
For those who find ChatGPT controversial, I offer Deepak Chopra AI online as a non-ChatGPT option that functions the same way as described above. The responses are built from information gathered ONLY from Chopra’s writings, lectures, and books. One can receive a response to one’s query in either a written response or in Deepak’s own voice. The possible implications of this approach are enormous. This format takes the idea of “What would Jesus think?” to a whole new level. I personally would love a “What would Dolores think?” AI, for example. I was not lucky enough to be in this line of work when Dolores was alive, so a tool like that would be so helpful. If you could ask advice from someone who is no longer with us, who would that be?
As I write this, I feel the critics and their cautionary warnings already. Being in energy work, I have long ago learned to detect even the slightest vibration of fear. I pose that perhaps some of these cautionary approaches to AI hold fear in them. Just as easily as we infuse fear into our imaginations, we could similarly infuse our imagination with much higher vibrations, such as peace, joy, love, reason, acceptance, and willingness. Once the lens is swapped, the same conversation about the “what ifs” of this tool looks different. For starters, the implication for supporting mental health alone is reason enough to get me personally fired up about this tool.
Coming into healing and still considering myself quite a newbie in this world of healers and light workers, what hit me the hardest was experiencing the sheer number of people in my immediate world who have been suffering in silence the entire time I knew them prior to working with them. There are people who would never lift a finger to seek help for themselves—many times, they are the ones who need it the most. Often these people, overcome by shame due to their suffering, hide in plain sight. I am very familiar with this type of person, having been one of them for many years. Shame, which also happens to be the lowest vibration on David Hawkins’ Scale of Consciousness, holds its victim tightly, blocking the light of sanity from entering their hearts. This reason alone is enough to keep me unabashedly open to the endless possibilities of this tool. If this tool could assist in bypassing the block caused by the feeling of shame, then let’s go!
