Hypnosis is a relaxed state of the body and mind where the deeper aspects of ourselves are available for communication and change. Hypnosis is a natural human state. We are in a hypnotic state two or more times a day. Upon waking and falling asleep are the main states and anytime we daydream, use creative visualization, meditate or do something automatic like driving we go into these relaxed, deeper states. In hypnosis we can consciously use these deeper, relaxed states of consciousness to learn and change. All hypnosis is Self hypnosis with or without a guide. The therapist makes suggestions and guides the client to discover their own answers. The client does the inner work and empowers and heals their Self. It is my intention to offer my clients a safe, nurturing space in which they can explore their desires, wants and needs. We all have the resources we need inside, it's just a matter of discovering them. It is a journey of possibilities that we are on. Healing the wounds that keep us stuck and creating new realities for ourselves is what it's all about, I believe.
