Heather Holm

I have been practicing Quantum Healing Hypnosis since 2017. I do sessions online and in-person at my home near Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. Sessions run 4 to 5 hours.

Having trained in a number of modalities, I choose whatever techniques I feel are most appropriate to the client’s situation.

About me

As a child, I was already awake to my “indwelling spirit”, and naturally meditated. I learned to count on “the still, small voice within” to center and guide me. Reincarnation and the evolution of the soul made intuitive sense to a young consciousness explorer, and since my teens I have been a voracious reader of channeled and spiritual books.

In my 20s (back in the 1980s), I was active in a co-counselling movement which facilitated the clearing of trauma with the help of a peer counsellor, utilizing what I now recognize as a trance state.

A healer’s initiation

In 2016-17, I was holding space for my husband’s awakening and healing process which had been delayed by unnecessarily prescribed psych meds (benzodiazepines and anti-depressants).

Once he was off the drugs, his psychic gifts opened up dramatically. He started channeling in full trance, allowing me to communicate with a wide variety of spirit beings (including my deceased parents) who were helping us get back on our feet and teaching us what we needed to know about healing, protection, what was happening on Earth, death and life on the other side of the Veil.

Discovering the work

At the same time, I was guided to the videos of hypnotherapist Alba Weinman. I was fascinated with the process, the insights and the healing that came forth in each session from the client’s own Higher Self.

I started my training as Alba had with Dolores Cannon’s QHHT® in 2017, and continued with Introspective Hypnosis as taught by Antonio Sangio, then Candace Craw-Goldman’s Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) course.

The hypnosis training helped me immeasurably in working with my husband, and our work together has deeply informed my hypnosis practice.

The new modalities I’ve studied and practiced since 2017 add a spiritual perspective to that earlier co-counselling work, more efficient ways of dealing with blocks and traumas, and a path to the client’s deeper wisdom. The fundamentals of deep listening and positive acceptance of the client are the same, so I already had the foundation for spiritual hypnosis work and it came naturally to me.

I also draw on decades of experience with healing and prayer circles, meditation, yoga, core shamanism, and working with other channellers and spirits.

I enjoy playing my late sister’s singing bowls for hypnosis sessions, whether in person or online. She was a music therapist and healer, and I feel her blessing as I draw healing tones out of the bowls.

I’m also a musician, writer, mother, wife, international traveller and adventurer, maker and fixer of things, gardener and permaculturist, and I have BSc and MA degrees.

I’m fairly proficient in French and somewhat in Spanish, which has been helpful to some clients although I work in English, and I’ve worked successfully with clients who have different mother tongues.
